Do I have to use Conference Center Catering?
Yes...
The Conference Center has a full Catering Staff and our General Manager is also
an Executive Chef. All food is prepared on site, in our state-of the-art
kitchen. We are confident that you will not find better food and service
anywhere in Tennessee.
Do I have to select my meal directly from the menu?
Our menu is flexible in order to accommodate any specific requests for food not
found in our menu. If there is something special you had in mind, or a family
recipe you want prepared, our Chefs are the best in the area and we are ready
to accommodate your requests.
Is there a different price for children?
The price for adults and children is the same for parties that select a buffet
style meal. If a party has selected a plated meal, our staff will be glad to
provide a separate children’s menu, to be pre-selected, at a reduced price.
When do I have to turn in my Final Count and can I increase it after I
turn it in?
In order to provide you with the best possible service and food quality, we
require a Final Guaranteed Count three (3) business days prior to the scheduled
event. If your count increases after you have given a Final Count, we need to
know how many more will be attending.
What if people show up unexpectedly?
No one in your party will go hungry. In some circumstances unexpected guests
may not get the same meal, but they will receive a meal of equal value.
Can I take home the leftovers?
Generally the conference center does not provide for carry-out food service.
Meals that were plated and placed in our food warmer are not acceptable as
repackaged leftovers. Under certain circumstances we will allow these items to
be taken from the facility. Depending on the number of packages, a disposable
container and handling fee may be applied to the invoice.
Buffet Service:
It is our job to make the buffet look as good for the last
person being served as it did for the first person. We continue to stock and
replenish all the way to the end. For that reason anything left on the buffet is
property of the conference center. With exception, we often will package a gift
pack for the Bride and Groom to take to the honeymoon suite.
